Fittings > I have chosen the door, how do I know it will fit in to my garage?

Gliderol steel roller doors
Roller doors are usually installed behind your blockwork opening.

Roller doors are made to order to suit your garage opening. Measure the width and then the height of your blockwork opening.

The blockwork opening must be flush with your lintel on the inside.

Check from the diagram below whether you have adequate side and headroom.

If you do not have sufficient headroom for this door an insulated roller door may fit.
If you order this door with a remote control option an extra 20mm side clearance is required on the side the drive unit is to be fitted.

Now return to the door range pages to place your order.
